    Chapter 4
    What I have heard is God’s words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God. John 8:47 This place makes me understand that you can’t hear God’s word if you are not of him. So we must be of God before we can get an understanding of his words. Prerequisites to Bible study, we see that a prerequisite is something you must do before you can do something else. We have the Bible as the word of God not unlike books so we can not study it like other books there are things you must do before studying the Bible, e see that if you want to understand the Bible you must first know the Author of the Bible it takes you to our key verse. You can’t understand God’s words without knowing God. and how can we know God Jesus told Nicodemus, who was a religious leader in the nation of Israel: Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again he cannot see the kingdom of God. John 3:3 .
    and we also see God’s Provisions
    From the moment you accept Jesus as your savior and experience the new spiritual birth, your mind will begin to understand spiritual truths in God’s word. There are two ways God has provided to help you study his word:
    – Teachers
    God chooses believers as leaders in the church. We can see that in 1 Corinthians 12:28
    – We have A SPECIAL TEACHER: God has a second way for you to learn his word. He commands you to study it yourself: Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:15
    God has given us a special Teacher in the person of the holy spirit But the Comforter, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will cause you to remember everything I have said to you.
    John 14:26
    However, when the Spirit of truth, has come, he will guide you into all truth, for he will not speak on his own, but will speak only what he hears. And he will show you things to come.
    John 16:13
    The coming of the holy spirit is recommended in Acts chapter 2 .
    OD’S WORD: MILK AND MEAT
    There are two levels of spiritual depth in God’s word. We have the milk level and the meat level. The milk level is for newborn babies
