Chapter 2 OF POWER PRINCIPLE
TITLE: THE SOURCE OF POWER
God has spoken once;
twice I have heard this:
power belongs to God.
Also to you, O Lord,
belongs mercy,
for you repay every man
according to his work.
This is telling us that God has both the ability and the willingness to help His people. There is no lack of power or grace with Him. To whom, then, should we go
Now for us to understand power principle or concept,we must start from the beginning by discovering the source or the origin of Power .
As evidence that God is the source of power, you see the following scriptures;
for by him all things were created, things that are in heaven, and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers – all things were created by him, and for him.
Colossians 1:16
‘Ah Lord God! See, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm, and there is nothing too hard for you.
Jeremiah 32:17
There are many kingdoms and governments in this world, but God’s Kingdom is sovereign, this means He rules over all:
The LORD has prepared his
throne in the heavens,
and his kingdom rules over all.
Psalms 103:19
God is the one who gives power to the faint not man. When I say not man I mean no man can give power to another man. See
He gives power to the faint,
and he increases the strength of
those who have no might.
