James 4:7 (KJV) Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
In this scripture note the first word we see is submit and then the b Part introduces the word resist. Most often we skip over the first step which is submissiveness and go trying to resist the Devil,note that whenever you work independently of you get defeated it is the humility,not the self confidence and the arrogance that will overcome the enemy. therefore the prerequisite for overcoming the devil is submission to God. Henceforth if we most truly overcome we most learn true submissiveness to God
At times my lifestyle and attitude seems to be inviting the
devil in my life ,,
but this lesson has helped me greatly….
