Greetings to all in Jesus name.
I Will like to share with us from what I have learned in chapter 3 “versions of the Bible.”
I have learn how the various versions of the Bible developed.
The Bible originally was inspired by God himself. He revealed it to holy men who wrote them down in Greek, Hebrew, Aramaic. Interpreted into various languages, and resulting to the exact translations. And the paraphrase versions that does not attempt to translate the Bible word to word. It rather gives a restatement of the meaning of a passage.
I learned the difference between version and translation.
Version means a Bible written in a different language different from those in which God’s word was originally written. While a Translation is an effort to express what the Greek, Hebrew, Aramaic actually say. No translation is exact because no two languages are exactly alike.. shalom
