Chapter 2: Enlisting in God’s Army.
In the natural world, armies usually have special induction rituals in which a prospective soldier must participate in order to join the forces. This induction makes him part of the army.
This chapter has made me to understand that, God has a special plan for induction through which you become part of His spiritual army.
His plan centers on two important concept, repentance and conversion. Which result to justification.
Repentance is an inward decision or change of mind resulting to an outward action of turning from sin to God and righteousness. When you join the army of God, you must repent of your allegiance to sin and kingdom of Satan.
Conversion: when you ask for forgiveness of sins you experience conversion. It means to turn from wrong ways to right ways. That’s in connection with biblical repentance. You leave the Kingdom of Satan and join the kingdom of God
