CHAPTER 6: THE SPIRITUAL FORCES OF EVIL: DEMONS
God originally created all of the angels, some later become demons. Demons were originally like the other angels of God with the same attributes and position as good angels. When Satan rebelled against God, a portion of the angels participated in his rebellion. God cast them out of heaven along with Satan. Throughout the Bible, demons are shown as active on earth. Since Satan is not omnipresent, he uses demons to accomplish his purposes throughout the world. They constitutes the powers of the air, and the powers of darkness.
The attributes of demons.
Are spirit, can appear visibly, can speak, believe, exercise their wills, demonstrate intelligence .
Satan has organized his forces into: principalities, powers and rulers of darkness of this world, and spiritual wickedness in high places.
The Bible teaches that man has a body, soul and spirit. There are three major kind of demons that attack body, soul and spirit of man.
Evil or unclean spirits. They are responsible for immoral acts, unclean thoughts, oppression, possession….
Spirit of infirmity: these spirit afflict the physical body.
Seducing spirit afflict the mind, soul, and spirit of man.
