Chapter 3: His eyes behold the nations.
Now the disciples did not have the same vision which Jesus had …. This is why He urge them to lift their eyes and look in order to see the great need he saw….
The essential way to develop a proper Spiritual vision is to see the world as God sees it. Ps.66.7 – For by his great power he rules forever. He watches every movement of the nations; let no rebel rise in defiance.
The Spiritual harvest Fields of the world resemble the natural fields over which the prophet Joel cried……Joel.1.11 – Despair, all you farmers! Wail, all you vine growers! Weep, because the wheat and barley–yes, all the field crops–are ruined.
When God’s eyes behold the nations of the world, He sees a Spiritual harvest perishing because of lack of harvesters.
Jesus never said the world would be a lack of sowers of the Gospel….. He said there would be a lack of laborers to reap the Spiritual harvest.
