Chapter 2 of INTERCESSORY Prayer.
This Topic on its own is very important and I have learned alot which is already helping me by praying for others. An intercessor is one who takes the place of another there by interceeding for that person or a situation at hand and it could also be for the nation. My Role Model is the Lord Jesus Christ and no other person and that an intercessor pray for everything expecially the situation is at hand, just as Jesus did when he was here on Earth he prayed for the sick and those possessed by demons and also for his disciples.
We interceede by standing before and between God there by serving as an advocate and intercessor in their behalf.
To conclude, I have learned that intercession is very important because of the emphasis Jesus placed on it in his own earthly ministry and that by doing this we (I) can go spiritually anywhere in the world for there is no limitations of distance.Thanks for reading
Intercession is such a powerful responsibility given us by God. It is a sign and a cause of Christian maturity in God’s Church, and a tool of deliverance for the world.
Christians must grow beyond asking God for personal needs, to praying for the needs of others to be met, and especially, praying for the salvation of nations.
Learning from the model of prayers that Jesus gave, we have to also look at the needs of others and also approach God on their behalf … We need to pray for forgiveness and provision …. Very important
