Chapter 4: Before you Begin

The Bible must not be read as a novel or just any book, serious preparations have to be made.
The Bible is the key to unlock the hidden truths of God’s kingdom and we don’t have to read it recklessly.
To begin reading:
– identify the author who’s is Jesus himself. So we need to be born again to be in unoln with him, and to unblock our minds to understand his word.
– God has made provisions to help us understand his word by giving us teachers who are church leaders to help is understand the word.
– He has also given us a special teacher- by the name of the Holy Spirit to teach us supernaturally to release a new freshness, relevant to take us from spiritual babies to spiritually matured individuals.
God’s word is divided into two- spiritual milk( easiest to understand word of God and meat of the word which is the more complicated word.
To move from spiritual milk to spiritual neat:
– we must desire the milk of the word.
– you have to be obedient to God’s word through meditation.
– we need to search for the meat of the word.
– you have to discover and understand the knowledge of God:
– be teachable, receive the word,
– accept the word the way it is don’t try to change it.
– listen to what God is saying and practice the word.
-Deligently read and understand the word of God
– Make the word of God a priority for your life.
If you deligently search the word of God:
– you will understand the dear of God.
– you’ll find knowledge.
– you’ll understand righteousness,judgement and equity
– you’ll find satisfaction.
– you will develope discretion or sound judgement.
– you’ll have understanding of the word.
– you’ll be delivered from all evil.
so:
– Set a time for Bible study.
– Choose a convient place, less noisy.
– start in a special way with praise, worship and prayers. God bless us.
