Each writing in the Bible was done at a particular time in history but we must know that it was written Chronologically, that is, it was organized in order of occurances.
The Bible writings were recorded in two periods- BC- Before Christ and AD- after Christ.
We can easily know the chronological history of the Bible by:
– looking at the dates of some events mentioned in the bible.
– by reading the dates provided
by early records of historians
– by studying archeological remains excarvated from certain bible historical sites.
The Chronological History of the Bible is divided into twelve (12) major parts.
– creation to Abraham- from creation to 200BC
– Abraham to Moses- 200-1500B.C
– The Exodus- 1500-1450B.C
– The conquest- 1460-1450B.C
-the judges.- 1459-1102B.C
– The kingdom1102-982 B.C
– Two kingdoms- 982-722 B.C
– Judah alone722-587 B.C

In this study we had 4 charts that presented some chronological events like in the Judges of Isreal, you could have all their names. And their periods of reign .same with the Kings of israel, and Judah we had also a chart present the chronological order of old testament prophets ,to who they prophesied and the dates.
Through archeological studies, we have access to information on the everyday life of the people of Israel in Bible times.- their way of life, work, dressing, their migrations, food etc.
