Chapter 1: An introduction to prayer
Prayer is communication with God, be arise you talk to God and also listen to him talk to you.Therefore you need to really spend time during prayers.
Your posture when you pray is determined by you. It could be:
Standing, bowing down,kneeling down,falling on your face,spreading out your hands, lifting up the hands.
When you pray, God could answer you, immediately, or he could delay at times. He could give you an answer that’s very different from your expectations or he might surprise you beyond your expectation.
Jesus Christ our model intercessor, who stands between God and us, made prayer a priority and you must do same.
There are three levels of prayer:
– asking
– seeking
-knocking
Used in the following types of prayers
– praise and worship
– consecration or dedication
-Confession
– petition and intercession.
