Chapter 11: Defensive Weapons
To protect your territory, you need to have the right weapons to chase the enemy away.
-The first offensive weapon is to submit to God and grow up in spiritual maturity and then you can resist the devil and prevail.
– To Resist satan steadfastly , with focus in faith, using the authority of the word of God.
– don’t leave room for satan to operate in your life
– Recover yourself from Satan’s snares- his voices, his arrows etc
– abstain from fleshy lusts, ask God for grace to dominate them-
– Beware of evil, shun itabd put it off.
– Try the spirit to avoid deception
– shun false teachers
– Lay aside worldly affairs that distract you from your heavenly course.
put on the whole armor of God . By this we mean – the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness,shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace, take on the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation and the sword of the spirit
