Chapter 13: Natural Parallels of spiritual warfare

God uses natural principles to explain happenings in the spiritual world.when parallels are drawn between something in the natural world and the spiritual world, then we can understand the spiritual because of the natural. For example, Jesus used the physical harvesting period to illustrate the readiness of hearts for evangelism.Here are some natural parallels of spiritual battles.
– just as the natural world takes acts of force intended to compel the enemy, satan too uses forces of evil to compel Christians to fulfil his will.
– just like worldly soldiers are alert during wars, Christians are supposed to develope a wartime life style of watching and praying, being alert to the atmosphere around them.
– in the natural world, the major objective is to win or overcome the enemy. In the spiritual wsr, the Christians objective is to overcome satan and his agents God’s way.
– just like soldiers are trained for wsr in the natural world, believers should read the word of God to learn how to confront the devil and his agents in the face of adversity.
_ in the physical world, enemy camps spreads false rumours or make false propaganda against their opponents, satan too spreads false propaganda against the church, manipulating the minds of Christians if they permit it.
– other parallels include: diplomatic proposals, and intelligence
You must understand that defensive warfare is not very strategic for a believer because you are struggling to shake off the arrows that the devil has already shot at you. But in offensive warfare, the believe has the advantage position to attack and conquer new territories for God.. to be best in this:
-Use the spiritual weapons that God has give us in the word.
-make surprise attacks in prayers and evangelism just as the natural soldiers make surprise attacks on the enemy- let you battles be purposeful or decisive not by accident, in thsame way natural bottles are studied and planed by war generals.
– communicate always with our war fenersl- Jesus Christ in the same way that natural soldiers do in physical wars.
– observe and study the kind of target you have- moving or stationary target?
– make attacks and counter attacks just as in physical battles- frontal, siège or invasion.
– Also assure monñbility during wsr, if you remain in one position or use the same method of attack the enemy will get you, because satan studied you well before attacking.
– let there be cooperation amongst Christians because Satan’s government is very united in attack.
– be obedience to tge rules of the wsr in the same natural soldiers are.
– be courageous. Fear is a grate open door that satan use in the minds of believers. All natural soldiers are bold enough to confront satan.
– confront and conquer satanic principalities , their rulers and authorities just as physical soldiers do. And finally,be committed to the task. Remain in the gap or in your duty point.
