Chapter 15: The battle of the mind
satan battles the minds of Christians to stop them from loving God with all their minds as commanded by the Holy Scriptures, to control the mind and then the heart , spirit soul and mouth of man. Your thoughts control your speech and actions.so satan will always throw fiery darts at Christians to distract them from focusing on divine issions and plans.
He uses these methods:
– he causes God’s creation to question his authority, deceives and seduces them, controls their flesh, blinds the minds of unbelievers, he creates depression, discouragement, withdrawal,improper motivés, wrong attitudes and emotions, rebellion, accusations and condemnations,tormenting thoughts,sexual impurities, confusion, compromise, and wrong mental focus and conditions.
To have victory over your minds:
* Let the holy spirit search your mind
* Use your spiritual mirror, God’s words, claim sound mind, take on Christ’s mind, take captive wrong thoughts, renew your minds, encourage yourself in the Lord, recognize the source of confusion etc
