Chapter 16: The battle of the tongue
The tongue though a little part of the body can défilé or beautify it, it all depends on whether you speak positive or negative words.
If satan lays hold of your heart, mind, spirit and emotions, he will ultimaely control your tongue for it release what has been programmed to it.you open your lufe to the devil by using covetous words, idolstoru words, foolish words, unprofitable wordsgosdios, flattery words, enticing words, vain, proud, boastful, cursing, lyibg , slandering, evil and deceitful words etc.
To have control over your tongue:
Reconnect your heart to God, recognize your responsibility , speak the gospel, be slow to speak,separate yourself from bad enemies, speak peaceful words, etc.
Always examine your speak before you speak. Ask yourself whether what you’re about to say is true, fair, needful ? etc
Always remind yourself by reading scriptures on the tongues,, claim it’s promises to you, pray prayers leading to your self control, decide to be a man or woman of integrity.
