Chapter 7:POWER PRINCIPLE 1: The power of the gospel
The word gospel means good news of the kingdom of God and of salvation through Jesus Christ.It focuses on the life and ministry of qjesus Christ, his dead, his burial and his resurrection.
The impact of this death on believers is in the blood He shed for the remission of human sin.Thzys the power in the blood of Jesus. It gave me kind grace to repent from sin and find salvation as compared to the blood of lambs that was used in the old testament.
Jesus made a choice that favoured us, accepting to shed his blood, this is the power that boosts the gospel, that in the process of shedding the blood, here died, was buried but he resurrected so we have hope of living for ever even after death .
The power that Jesus gave us can only be experienced by those who have received him into their lives, born again Christians .
For without the shedding of blood, there’s no remission of sin! There is indeed such power in the blood of Jesus that can turn red into white in an instant! The gospel presents this power, readily available to all who accept it by faith. This should encourage us to pursue the gospel with all our might, and to never preach another gospel other than that which we have received from the Lord Jesus; being his death, burial, and resurrection for the salvation of mankind!
