Course Biblical Management
Chapter 1: The ministry of Management
Management is the process of accomplishing God’s purpose and plans through proper use of human materials and spiritual resources.Manahement is evaluated by whether or not these plans and purposes are accomplished. People need direction so that their efforts and energies will accomplish God’s purposes and plans.
All believers are stewards and all leaders are stewards over God’s special resources which include: the gospel, finances, material, spiritual gifts and other believers.
God told them to be fruitful and multiply which means to maximise resources , minimise disorder by subduing and by maintaining order by ruling.
Jesus was the model leader and ruled like a shepherd.God doesn’t chose educated leaders but calls them because of their faithfulness.
Ministry is not organized using fixed or based on worldly patterns but it’s flexible to accomodate the guidance of the Holy Ghost.
Management also means analysing your ministry in order to establish purpose and plans . When there’s good management: condition is eliminated, proper decision making, priorities for ministry are established, there’s action rather than reaction, it establishes accountability, it permits evaluation, it permits wise use of spiritual resources, it prepares you to enter open doors, it harmonizes ministry with God’s will.
God’s still searching for leaders and becoming a good leader takes time and effort
