Method: chapter 2
The Day of small things
Spiritual growth begins when someone has a relationship with Jesus Christ and the fruit is a flow into the soul and spirit of the one who accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour and he grows into a disciple able to bring more people to Christ.
Methodology changes but the principal biblical principles don’t change .
God will sometimes change his strategies necessary to accomplish his purpose even Jedus’ method of dealing with people changes but his purpose remained the same.
Before you begin to multiply, know that :
God’s concern with the multitude,growth comes from God, man must cooperate with God’s principles, the focus of multiplication is Jesus Christ, Growth comes from the word, the Holy Spirit enables multiplication, multiplication is shared responsibility.
There are many types of growth:
Geographical growth, numeric growth, ethnic growth, spiritual growth.
Numeric growth can bring negative consequences because of pride, when it’s considered more important than spiritual growth,when emulation is practiced,when emphasis is laid in church growth rather than I. Kingdom growth, when the individual is ignored, when emphasis shifts from people to things, when others are judged on the basis of numbers.
