Meth: Chapter 3- Parables of multiplication
A parable is a story which uses an example from the natural world the llusreate spiritual truth. Parable means to lay aside or to compare. It’s an earthly story with a heavenly meaning. Parables were used to teach the disciples because they had spiritual minds. Christians are commissioned to preach the gospel of the kingdom of God.Its message includes birth, life and ministry of Jesus . It includes his death, for the sins of all mankind and his resurrection from the death.
Jesus told many parables about kingdom of God, how it spread through out the world and these formed the basic principles of multiplication.
They were parables to emphasize bring sinners to the knowledge of the gospel, the need to grow to maturity, stewardship, evangelizing or planting, the types of hearts, etc
