Biographical Bible study is another Bible study method. In Chapter 17, we will look at what it means to study the Bible by Biographical method.
Biography study is a method where by we study the story of someone’s life. In the biographical method of Bible study I have learn to focused on the lives of Bible personalities and when studying the lives of a Bible character I learn from thier experiences. Example is the Live of Joseph the dreamer. From his birth to his death.
Just as 1 Corinthians 29:11 now all these things happen unto them for examples and they are written for our admonition..
I learn from this text that events that happened in the lives of Bible personalities were recorded by the inspiration of the holy Spirit for my benefits. Thier experiences teaches me great Spiritual lessons. Like observing thier failures I can learn spiritual errors to avoid and by by studying thier successes I can develop positive qualities in my life.
One important thing I should always remember is that, I might study an important person in the Bible but I should know that, the greatest biography to study of all is the life of Jesus Christ.
I have to be careful to not be confused with names and people who have more than one name .. God bless you.
